Discarded Intimacy

Monique Natalia Wiradisastra. Currently in my final months of completing my Master’s in Interactive Media at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Discarded Intimacy is my first project in the field. Before being granted a scholarship by the British Goverment (Chevening) I was writing for magazines and news papers back in my home country, Indonesia. Journalism was more my field. This exploration into the unknown has lead me through some very surprising journeys, some pleasant and exciting while others are quite disturbing (you really don’t want to know! Trust me..). I am hoping that this attempt at engaging with London as my ’second’ home town through the waste of its inhabitants will lead me into more exciting and incredible journeys.
